Hazrat Jalaleddin Ali Mir Abolfazl Angha

Molana-al-Moazzam Hazrat Jalaleddin Ali, Mir Abolfazl Angha (1849-1915) is the 39th Master of the Oveyssi School. Born in Ghazvin, Iran in 1849 AD, until the age of nineteen he pursued Islamic studies under famous teachers in that city.

In 1867 AD, Hazrat Jalaleddin Ali moved to Tehran where he met his eminent master, Hazrat Abdolghader Jahromi, and studied under his guidance until his mater passed away. He attained the absolute state of cognition through hard work, obedience and discipline.

Hazrat Jalaleddin Ali became the pole of his time. In addition to receiving the leadership of Tarighat Oveyssi from Hazrat Jahromi, Harzrt Jalaleddin Ali Mir Abolfazl Angha was given the succession by Hazrat Agha Mohammad Jassebi to the Maroufi, Nematollahi order, and by Hazrat Seyyed Hossein Dezfuli to the Zahabieh Order.

He passed away in Tehran in 1915 AD His shrine is located in Ray, ibn-Babveyh, Iran.

Hazrat Jalaleddin Ali Mir Abolfazl Angha composed numerous works in verse and prose on the inward reality of Sufism and the secret sciences as well as philosophical and scientific writings which are considered as great works of our time. Some of his books are: Adab-e Faghr dar Solouk, Ahadith Ghodsi, Esharat-al-Hosseinieh, Anvar-e Gholoob al-Salekin, Haghayegh al-Managheb, and Ghonche-ye Baz dar Sharh-e Golshan-e Raz.
